Sinopsis

Este texto es una publicación académica que describe el diseño y construcción de una matriz para la deformación plástica severa de metales utilizando la técnica de Presión Calibrada restringida (CGP). La investigación, realizada por Oscar Fabián Higuera Cobos, Cristian Antonio Pedraza Yepes y Alfonso Rodríguez Peña, se centra en la nanotecnología y los materiales nanoestructurados, buscando mejorar las propiedades mecánicas de los metales a través del refinamiento del tamaño de grano. El documento analiza en profundidad la técnica CGP, incluyendo su comportamiento de fuerza y la simulación de procesos mediante el software ANSYS®, para optimizar la geometría de la matriz y el coeficiente de fricción. Finalmente, detalla la fabricación del prototipo y los resultados de su puesta a punto experimental, identificando las correcciones de diseño necesarias para su funcionalidad.
